Retail and wholesale customers can sell Oppenheimer fruits and vegetables with confidence, because our food safety policy and food security protocols stand behind each and every piece we market. For starters, all of our products are clearly identified for country of origin, and we require all of our growers to obtain food safety program certification by industry recognized third-party auditors.

Realizing that products remain vulnerable throughout the distribution chain, we monitor the security of our produce at every transfer point: while at sea, during discharge, in storage, and throughout the product's ground voyage to its final destination – but the traceability cycle does not end after delivery.

Our company has a robust but proprietary pallet and case-level traceability system, spanning from grower locations through to customer distribution centers. We are actively involved with the joint Produce Traceability Initiative, and are working to implement these traceability standards across our business.
