Small, round, deep blue colored berry with a five-pointed star at the stem end. The skin of a blueberry typically has a natural ‘frosted’ or ‘dusted’ appearance. Standard size is about 3/8 of an inch (1cm) in diameter. ‘Super Blues’ are roughly twice or three times larger.

Skin ‘pops’ gently as you bite down on a blueberry, and small interior seeds have a light crunch. When ripe, flavor is generally mild and sweet. Blueberries that are not quite ripe will be more tart tasting.
