Three’s Company for Trio of New Oppenheimer Employees

  

VANCOUVER, B.C. —The Oppenheimer Group announces the recent appointments of Business Development Representatives Michelle Susi, Laura Umans and Kori Gutzwiller. Each will partner with retail, wholesale, and foodservice clients to implement promotional and marketing campaigns for Oppenheimer products.

 

Michelle SusiMichelle Susi joined the company’s Wilmington, Del. office July 7. Her territory includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri, and the District of Columbia. Susi most recently worked as a commercial sales coordinator at Leisure Fitness, Inc. of Newark, Del. She attended Wilmington University in Wilmington, Del., where she majored in business management with a minor in finance, and was a member of the honor society for academic achievement. “I am looking forward to being an integral part of relationship building with some of Oppenheimer’s key clients,” Susi said.

 

Laura UmansBased in Oppenheimer’s Chicago location, and serving customers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, Laura Umans took on the dual role of business development representative and sales coordinator for the Midwest region on July 7. Umans comes to Oppenheimer from sales coordinator positions at The Parking Spot and Avis Budget Group, both located in Chicago. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in textile marketing. “I am looking forward to growing relationships and learning more about the complexities of the produce industry,” Umans said.

 

Kori GutzwillerA familiar face at Oppenheimer, Kori Gutzwiller will step into the role of business development representative for the Southwest region on September 8. Her territory will include Southern California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Utah. Gutzwiller has been with Oppenheimer for two years, working as an intern and then a sales coordinator in the company’s Los Angeles office, where she will be based in her new position. More recently, she has been filling in as a temporary business development representative for the company’s Pacific Northwest region. Gutzwiller is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif., where she majored in business, minored in Spanish, and was on the Dean’s Academic List. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, she worked in the retail industry for New Balance Athletic Shoe and Express in Ontario, Calif.

 

“Because of the diversity of accounts in my new region, the potential for growth is limitless, and I am looking forward to exploring some of those untapped opportunities,” Gutzwiller said.
