Ramon (Ray) Reed manages the day-to-day operations of our South American procurement office in Santiago, "Oppenheimer Chilé Limitada."

With nearly 20 years of produce sales, marketing and quality control experience, Ray has worked for Jac. Vandenberg Inc. in Yonkers, NY, and Produce Services of America Inc. in Gloucester City, N.J., and in San Diego, CA. He was also an owner/partner of Plum Krazy Ranch, a family-owned plum and olive grower, packer, shipper in Woodlake, CA.

He came to Oppenheimer in late 2002 as a sales representative for our Los Angeles office. And Ray soon became our mango category coordinator. He moved to Santiago in late 2003 to take on the role of office manager, overseeing our South American supply lines.

Ray holds a bachelor's of science degree in agricultural business from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
