Greg Sheldon, CMA
Accounting and Finance Advisor

Prior to his retirement in January of 2009, Greg Sheldon oversaw the development and implementation of our strategic goals, policies and objectives in the areas of category management, grower relations, accounting and finance, information technology and human resources. Having completed 17 years of service, he remains engaged with our company in an advisory role.

Greg started his career as general manager and partner in a computer software company, first joining Oppenheimer in 1987 as general manager of finance. He left us in 1993 to become vice president and COO of Albion Fisheries Ltd., a seafood distribution company supplying hotels, restaurants, retail chains, and cruise ships throughout North America. He rejoined Oppenheimer in 1998 as chief financial officer and assumed the role of executive vice president in 1999, adding category oversight responsibilities in 2004.

Greg’s diverse background and talent in finance, accounting, information technology, operations and marketing allowed him to successfully lead the overall integration of our financial systems and processes with our sales and marketing disciplines. He also helped streamline our category management processes for maximum efficiency.
