Evan Myers
Stone Fruit Category Director
Based in Newark, Del., Evan Myers is our stone fruit category director. He is responsible for all of our business involving cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots.
Evan joined Oppenheimer in October 2005 in a quality assurance role at Manfredi cold storage, our logistics partner in Kennett Square, PA. One year later, he was promoted to the role of category coordinator for grapes and stone fruit, gaining expertise in these two key areas of Oppenheimer’s operations. In 2009, he phased out of his involvement with our grape category in order to focus on his leadership of the imported stone fruit programs.
Before joining Oppenheimer, Evan managed apple and blueberry orchards, greenhouses, and was involved in crop management for a wide variety of row crops in Southern Vermont.
Evan holds a degree in plant, soil and insect sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
